Description
- Provide Travel support in the areas of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- In/out process command staff, pulling in DTS accounts and releasing upon completion of tour. Update DTS and personal travel card data and assist travelers and staff with creating accounts, travel authorizations and claims, and completing orders for senior staff.
- Review travel vouchers for compliance with JTR/JFTR.
- Serve as Alternate Agency Program Coordinator of the Government Travel Card Program.
- Generate and monitor Citibank travel program card reports IAW DoD FMR Volume 9, Chapter 3. Notify travelers of delinquent account status and follow up to ensure delinquency is cleared. Provide monthly reports to Department Director and Deputy and immediate notifications of improper use of government travel card.
- Maintain all travel files.
- Entering travel data daily into memorandum of records (Excel or Access).
- Serves as Primary DTS Debt Manager
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred
- Three or more years of support services or project or program experience
- Experience working with the technology industry
- Experience working with company products and operating systems
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Basic accounting skills
- Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Organization and time management skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to travel
