Additional Job Information

Coordinate all aspects of the Future Electronics travel for all of North America

Responsibilities
-Book flights where required with the Sabre system.
-Assist in maintaining effective and efficient travel policies. Maximizing quality and minimizing costs while defining the policy relating to each area and ensuring consistency in its application and establishing appropriate controls.
-Provide resolution of all exceptions and non-compliance to the policies.
-Ensure all contracts are up to date and appropriate travel orders are duly authorized.
-Organize and participate in all large travel conferences.
-Perform audits of all travel suppliers to ensure they consistently provide Future Electronics the best value.
-Assist in the negotiation and maintenance of all outsourced activities such as Travel Agency, Airline, Car Rental, and Hotels.
-Ensure appropriate external reports are established covering all travel related issues such as travel policy compliance, performance to contractual commitments and overall financial performance.
-Ensure an effective mode of communication with all Future Electronics employees who travel to enable a clear understanding of the Corporate Travel Policy with the goal to maximizing compliance.

-Participation in benchmarking studies against other companies ensuring that Future Electronics is consistent with up to date practices and procedures.
-Participate in an appropriate Travel related association with the goal of staying current with industry trends and to use it to lobby for changes that could benefit Future Electronics.
-Organize and participate in any supplier audits that contractually Future Electronics has rights to verify costs.
-Elevating issues to the Controller North America when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience
-Must have a minimum of 2 years of travel related experience.
-Certification in professional studies in Tourism.
-Knowledge of the Airline reservation systems (Sabre).
-Well developed PC skills, including presentation software.
