Job Description Valeo Sylvania is a leader in the automotive lighting industry and supplies advanced lighting assemblies for forward, rear, signaling, and interior applications to the major automotive manufacturers in the United States. The operation was founded in 1978 and is a joint venture with 50/50 ownership between Valeo and OSRAM Sylvania. Our headquarters, including manufacturing and RD, is located in Seymour, Indiana and allows us to be close to our customers: Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Nissan, Honda, and Toyota. Valeo Sylvania also operates a manufacturing facility in Queretaro, Mexico and a sales office in Dearborn, Michigan. The company is home to nearly 1,500 employees, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team! We currently have an exciting opportunity for the position of Treasurer. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to): -Oversee all activities regarding the cash management of the company including credit and risk management. -Manage all cash management practices, policies, and procedures related to investments and borrowings. -Establish, maintain and develop efficient, effective and reliable banking relationships. -Oversee the companys pension management process. -Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations for Treasury operations. -Assist the CFO in the development of presentations to the board. Requirements: As the successful candidate, you will have: -Master's degree in Finance or Accounting. -Minimum of 5 years experience in treasury. -Strong GL background and financial analysis skills. -Ability to interact effectively with all functional areas and management levels. -High level of initiative and autonomy. -Strong leadership skills. -Proficient with Excel, SAP, Experience with Hyperion preferred.Along with a highly competitive salary, Valeo Sylvania offers full medical benefits, matching 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays and vacation days.
