Treasury Accounting Finance Manager
A new role has come up with the Singapore branch of a regional bank here. It is a Finance Manager role reporting to the Head of Finance and incorporates duties across MAS reporting and submissions, SFRS and GAAP Financial Reporting and also some management reporting such as yield analysis and profitability analysis.
This role would suit someone who is looking for a broad set of responsibilities, someone who wants to have a varied work schedule and who also is interested in working in Treasury and being exposed to treasury products. They need someone with previous MAS reporting exposure, knowledge of treasury products, and some reasonably in-depth IFRS and GAAP reporting skills as well as general accounting ability to work through accounting treatments relating to treasury products.
The ideal candidate would have 5-8 years of experience with excellent understanding of Treasury products and their accounting treatment as well as some knowledge on Treasury settlement and SWIFT payment. Working knowledge of MAS regulations for treasury related products is essential. You should be a self-starter and numeric person with a good understanding and experience in User Application Testing.
