What you need:
• Bachelor degree in finance, economics, or accounting
• 5+ years work experience. Must have superior analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Background in corporate finance (real estate finance preferred) and/or banking and possess a thorough understanding of financial statements
• Advanced Excel financial modeling skills, with the ability to perform analysis starting from a blank spreadsheet based on verbal and/or written instructions .
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and have a working familiarity with Bloomberg
• Demonstrated ability to prepare business memoranda, correspondence and PowerPoint presentations.
• 3+ years of work experience in cash management including daily experience running cash position reports, preparing and monitoring cash flow projections and processing wire and book transfers
• Experience with the following bank Cash Management software is required: Bank of America Cash Pro Online and Wells Fargo Commercial Executive Office
• Experience with the following software is desirable, but not required: California Bank and Trust Treasury Gateway, US Bank Single Point, Bank of Hawaii and HSBC Net
What you'll be doing - You will:
• Prepare quarterly loan covenant compliance packages and monthly reporting packages for two real estate credit facilities.
• Maintain financial covenant projection models for two real estate credit facilities and quantify impact of various operational and transaction scenarios on covenants.
• Support Treasurer by preparing responses to inquiries from lenders by obtaining and coordinating information with multiple divisions and third parties within a short time frame on various issues including reporting, reconciliations and expectations.
• Track, record and model impact to loan compliance of changes in values of 100 + real estate appraisals.
• Coordinate preparation of rolling 90 day daily cash flow projections for 5 separate companies; input discrete revenue and expense assumptions as provided by divisions. Review variances and update projections each day.
• Daily duties include monitoring and recording cash account activity for 5 separate companies using bank cash management software, processing wire and electronic funds transfers, completing all necessary department filing and paperwork and preparing debt reports, all within prescribed deadlines. Administer access to bank cash management websites and handle routine division cash management inquires.
• Approve routine daily wire and electronic funds transfers and changes in on-line bank access after processed by Cash Manager, all within prescribed deadlines.
• Prepare Consolidated Debt Reports, Lender Reports and Bank Fee Reports.
• Assist Treasurer in analyzing interest rate trends. Prepare loan notices for Treasurer's signature and submit completed notices to various banks when Cash Manager is out of office.
• Prepare monthly cash journal entry files for divisions and corporate accounting when Cash Manager is out of office. Answer questions from field and assist in obtaining back-up for transactions.
