Treasury Analyst recruitment

Our Client, a well renowned and respected player in the multinational FMCG sector, is working exclusively with Robert Half to find a Treasury Analyst (M/F) who will join their team in Luxembourg. With operations in almost every country across the world, they are offering the successful candidate a chance to become an integral part of their treasury team, reporting directly to the European Regional Treasurer.

The Treasury Analyst will perform all daily operational tasks related to the Treasury Management for affiliated companies, mainly covering Cash and FX risk management, Funding, Netting and Reporting.

Geographically, the scope includes several European countries, with affiliates in each of those countries.

Your Role

• Assist the Treasury Advisor and/or the Manager in all activities relating to funding, financial risk exposure, reporting and any Treasury activity.

• Prepare the daily Treasury position in the bank pools and accounts

• Manage the bank pools in line with pre-set Performance Indices, suggesting potential improvements based on these results.

• Analyze the affiliated companies' forecasts, contacting them to take corrective action when necessary.

• Check value dates and ensure correct application of conditions by the banks.

• Perform interest calculations, referring to bank accounts and current accounts with affiliated companies.

• Perform the Treasury Reporting for the countries under responsibility

• Perform analysis related to the better control and reporting of the Regional treasury activities.

• Identify potential problems and seek improvements in the daily Treasury operations.

• Maintain strong relationships with: affiliated companies, corporate treasury at headquarters and back and middle office departments in local and regional banks.

Your Profile

• You have strong knowledge and experience in treasury, accounting and banking operations

• You have the ability to manipulate figures (calculations, controls, size of amounts,…)

• You are fluent in English and have good knowledge of German or Spanish

• You are a natural communicator with the ability to work in a changing environment

• You are truly service orientated, self driven, proactive

• You are IT mined, knowledge of Quantum would be nice
