Treasury Assistant
I am working with the Treasury team in one of the world's largest insurers on an initial 3 month contract with the probability of an extension. The team urgently require an immediately available Treasury Assistant with experience preferably gained within the insurance industry to join their London office.
The business has grown rapidly over the past 10 years; forecasts expect this growth to continue and emphasis has been put on increasing their presence in Europe and the Far Middle East. The company writes a broad range of commercial insurance and intend to broaden the range of speciality insurance products on offer.
This vacancy will see the successful applicant join a small, well-run team and take on a wide range of treasury activities including processing receipts and expense/claims payments using SAP, setting up payments on various online banking platforms, resolving payment queries (including internal external interactions), reconciliations, assisting with working capital management (including the preparation of cash flow forecasts and investment of surplus funds) and assisting the Treasury Controller with the preparation of reports and schedules.
Applicants will have gained treasury experience in the insurance industry with a demonstrable ability with various banking platforms and programmes such as Word, Excel and SAP. As this role has extensive interactions with internal external departments, candidates will be able to communicate with clarity credibility. This is an urgent requirement for the business, candidates must be able to start immediately and be fully able to work in the UK without restriction. Speculative applications will not be considered.
