Treasury Assistant Accountant (8 Month Contract)
Working with the Treasury Team that centrally manages and controls all treasury and banking related activities
Key aspects of role include:
- Managing and controlling high volume reconciliations (daily/weekly/monthly) to tight reporting deadlines.
- Controlling and coordinating investigations – liaising with relationship banks, third party service providers and internal operations teams
- General Ledger – processing / reconciling transaction files and accounting for / analysing Treasury PL, month-end close, etc.
- Customer Service – daily interaction with business, responding to and proactively resolving queries or urgent issues.
- Identifying and implementing meaningful process improvements, including automation opportunities and initiating contact with relevant stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Directly supporting the testing and implementation of reconciliation solutions / other key treasury functions within Oracle General Ledger system.
- Assisting in the management of mandate files / online banking system access.
- Other treasury support functions as required.

- Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial systems / GL skills (preferably Oracle).
Education Experience:
- Must hold a relevant third level degree and a recognised professional qualification.
- Proven experience of high volume / complex reconciliations within a Corporate Treasury or Banking environment.
- Solid understanding of key controls in a treasury environment (SOX or equivalent).
- Academically strong with proven track record of high achievement.
