Treasury Business Partner recruitment

Overview:

This is a pivotal role within the Treasury team as the responsibilities extend across global and regional projects. It has particular importance at this time due to the significant regulatory focus triggering higher audit volumes and a focus on our clients infrastructure platform.

Treasury is an area in our clients business that is experiencing greater demands across the globe and such it now has a change management role that will focus on acting as a bridge between the Treasury subject matter experts (SMEs) and the technical delivery team of Finance, Treasury Operations and IT.

The role is important to the facilitation of the Treasury function and will include the following aspects

• Audit planning, management, governance and audit issues closure

• Coordination of Treasury delivery in a number of key bank projects including infrastructure review

• Identification and implementation of process efficiency measures

• Operational risk management activities including DORO (Divisional Operational Risk Officer) role

The role requires the ability to interpret and convey technical Treasury concepts in a clear and methodical manner. Further, it is essential that the candidate taking this position has the ability to manage multiple deliveries simultaneously and the ability to resolve issues and set priorities in a timely manner.

Given the importance of the operating Treasury platform, interactions with senior stakeholders will be a regular occurrence so a confident communicator is essential.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee coordination of Treasury SME input into specification and design of Treasury requirements for various initiatives; liaison and briefings with Finance, IT and Operations; issue resolution; change control

• Prioritisation of audits and projects; timetabling of various deliveries

• Business process reviews; implementation of efficiency initiatives

• Oversight of operational risk monitoring and tracking, DORO role

You will be:

• Degree qualified; project management training and qualification would be a significant benefit

• Technical Treasury risk management knowledge;

• Experienced in liaising with multiple stakeholders – senior management, IT, Operations, Finance. Must be able to work across regions and locations.

• Proven as a Project Manager within an Investment Banking domain

• Experience of working within a full project life cycle from initiation through to implementation

• Good problem-solving skills
