Position Description:
As a member of Treasury Capital Markets Controllers Team, this individual will be responsible for managing the liquidity p/l team. Additionally this individual will be responsible for consolidated management reporting for the Global TCM Controller team, including analysis of the allocation of the firm's expenses to the BUs. The candidate will also have regular and direct interactions with Business Resource Management, Operations, Financial Control Group, IT, and other groups within the Firm.
Team Responsibilities:
Daily reporting of the Firm's liquidity PL which includes Overnight Deposits, Repos and Cash
Daily reporting of the Treasury hedge PL of Interest Rate and Cross Currency Swaps (hedging fixed rate and foreign debt)
Weekly preparation of the MCR providing commentary on variance from previous week
Monthly TCM Forecast
Quarterly Due Diligence for TCM and recipient areas FID Other, Other IED and Other ISG
Analysis reporting to senior management on the firm's balances and its impact on funding costs
Analysis of the firm's net interest margin (NIM) and investigating the root cause of variation between periods
Ad-hoc projects that involve collaboration with Corporate Treasury, IT, and Controllers (Treasury BU) Globally to optimize efficiency by improving systems and processes
