I have a new Business Analyst opportunity within a Leading Investment Bank with Treasury Liquidity that I thought may be of interest to you. This is a permanent role, based in Canary Wharf with a salary of £60,000- £75,000
Hybrid Business Analyst role working on the full trade life cycle is the role on offer. The role acts as the bridge between the business development and sits across various departments of the Bank namely- Treasury, Collateral, Finance, Risk and Settlements. Operations Control knowing the correct data source and data controls is essential. Your role will be to fully understand the trade life cycle and the data flow from the trade systems through to the accounting system through to the settlements system and detail the requirements and functional design writing functional specifications.
The data you follow with be from a logical point of view, data modelling rather than schema and your responsibility around data will be how you recognise good quality data when you see it.
As the role covers a variety of tasks, endless exciting challenges across various departments it is essential that you have worked on large full trade life cycle projects across at least 2 of these departments Treasury, Collateral, Finance, Risk or Settlements acting as a true BA never assuming and not accepting the default answer of the Business or Development, push back and challenge the why. Capturing detailed requirements and functional design are essential for this Hybrid role.
