Treasury Manager Job in Houston, Texas US

Company located Downtown.  This company trades commodities.  Need a professional and polished candidate with a 4 yr. degree either in Accounting or Finance (or related).   Need someone with 7+ yrs. experience working in Treasury with foreign currency experience and supervisory experience.

 

Main Purpose:  To collate and accurately prepare all payment instructions for timely remittance. Liaise with banks and internal teams to resolve incoming and outgoing funding-flow related queries.

 

Key Responsibilities

Daily preparation of all payments for remittance via various banking systems
Thorough checking of all invoices to ensure payment instruction details are accurate
Prepare daily transaction flow reporting
Review statements and prepare daily account true-ups
Ensure all incoming funds are allocated
Resolve remittance queries – outgoing and incoming
Work closely with banks to ensure payment are executed accordingly
Complete daily bank reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and cleared
Collate and issue checks

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Payment Experience (preferable but not essential)
Demonstrable numeracy Skills
