The Position

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Treasury Officer to join Emeco’s Global Support Office (GSO). The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of the Treasury function though effective cash flow forecasting and reporting, interest rate hedging, and cash and debt management.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Treasury Officer will also focus on the following:

• Forecast interest and debt cost (including interest rate and FX) for the Emeco group

• Manage foreign exchange transactions (incoming, outgoing, Australia, international, as required)

• Manage the Emeco Group’s transactional bank accounts (Australia, international, as required)

• Co-ordinate the global debt management (drawdown and repayments from syndicate agent)

• Execute all foreign exchange and interest rate hedging transactions and maintain accurate and comprehensive hedge documentation

• Provide support to compliance activities and treasury audit, as required

• Review and manage bank guarantees, cheque signatories and administration of online banking packages.

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting

• 2 years experience within a treasury environment

• Strong professional communication skills

• Proven experience in Financial Modelling

• Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously; and
