Treasury Services – Foreign Exchange Product Manager – AVP/VP recruitment
Treasury Services FX provides clients with cross-border payment capabilities in 135+ currencies globally and works closely with both clients and the JPM Investment Bank to ensure that all our clients think about their foreign exchange needs and exposures strategically and manage their risk as appropriate.
TS FX is a key growth area for TS and is part of JPMorgan's aggressive international agenda. Over the past three years, the TS FX business has grown substantially as our client's international businesses and supply chains have expanded.
The FX Product Management Analyst role represents an exciting opportunity to drive change in a rapidly growing space in financial services, and to join an exceptional and well-respected product team. The ideal candidate would have an interest in FX, product management, product innovation and sales.
Within the TS FX product management group, you will work as part of a team responsible for the management of the TS FX franchise across APAC. In partnership with the Investment Bank and TS Sales you will primarily be responsible for driving revenue and new client acquisition. Your role will include supporting the APAC and global TS FX products, executing tactical and strategic changes in support of the business, driving sales distribution through regular training, consultative support and client calls and assisting with the management of the TS FX APAC PL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales distribution through regular training and consultative support on key transactions
- Create internal and external product collateral to support the training and selling of FX products managed
- Analysis of monthly pipeline, implementation, revenue, and volumes to identify key issues (deals not ramping, revenue declines, non-standard pricing etc) and refer to product managers and specialists
- Develop scorecard and metrics to ensure full transparency and effective communication of performance
- Develop a robust understanding of market dynamics - competition, regulatory changes, emerging client requirements and product needs
- Gather market and client data through daily activities, direct client contact and industry conferences
- Initiate collaborative efforts across functional teams within TS and the IB to drive improvements in the product set / distribution of that product set
- Identify product gaps, prioritise enhancement requirements and develop business cases to support investment requests. This includes:
- Managing the NBIA process for new product initiatives
- Providing revenue justification and syndication of sales targets with Sales to support new product initiatives
- Defining business requirements and working with the regional product management team to ensure execution and rollout
- Support Sales and PSS teams with the preparation of responses to non-standard RFPs including spread price setting
Skills
Key Skills / Experience
- 3+ years cash management experience
- Strong personality, persuasive and able to build strong relationships with senior management
- Effective communicator, able to convey issues concisely and clearly, verbally and in writing
- Self starter, ability to work independently and in a time sensitive environment
- Excellent judgment, able to make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong team player and able to partner effectively with business colleagues in TS and the IB
- Knowledge of foreign exchange markets and products is advantageous
