Treasury Services Specialist recruitment
Job Description
To support transaction-based sales of Treasury Products (FX, UT, PCI, Bonds, Basic Structured Deposits ) and/or sales of other equity 'flow' Products with specific licensing requirements (ELN). The TSO services customers based on the full understanding of the customer's financial objectives, risk tolerance and other relevant circumstances.
Key Roles Responsibilities
- Provide advice on treasury and investment products (excluding complex hedging structures) and market outlook based on approved sales scripts.
- Jointly assess customer's risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations with Relationship Manager at customer meeting sessions.
- Provide timely and relevant treasury advisory given customer's financial objectives and needs profile.
- Facilitate book building of treasury orders in a cost-effective, speedy and accurate manner.
-Based on house views and approved sales scripts, provide regular and timely feedback/ advisory to customer. - Ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
- Refer customers to SME CBMS desk for hedging needs, proprietary intellectual capital needs and customised bespoke solutions, and to refer customers to Investment Advisors for transactions in investment funds.
- Facilitate investment accounts opening and provide ongoing client servicing for investment-related matters.
- Comply with all procedures, policies and sales process of the bank, as well as money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager.
- Make referrals to other channels based on identified customer needs, preferably with high probability of closure
Qualifications Skills
- Preferably Bachelor Degree with relevant years of Treasury Sales or Trading experience.
- Excellent treasury product and SME industry knowledge and related policies processes regulatory requirements.
- Good ability to provide leadership, guidance and inspiration to the customers, RMs and other partners.
- Strong sense of self motivation and discipline in execution.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Good ability to network with internal and external business stakeholders.
