Treasury Settlement Manager recruitment
Key Responsibilities
•Manage, develop and implement policies, procedures, new products, and services related to Bonds Settlement functions and business
•Identify and pursue technology initiatives to reduce manual workload
•Co-ordinate and follow up queries regarding bonds transactions between Front Office, Legal Counsel, Accounting, IT, System Vendors, and Settlement Project team
•Participate in system development projects, in particular, during user requirement collection, UAT, system migration and deployment
•Supervise the Bonds Settlement day-to-day operations
•Assist ad hoc projects as assigned and new product launch
•Manage to perform Paying Agent / Fiscal Agent's Duties
To qualify, individuals must possess
•Degree or above with major in Finance, Business, Banking, or relevant experience in Banking or Financial Institutes
•Around 5 to 8 years solid experience in Bonds settlement operations
•Familiar with Bonds Products including US Treasury Bonds, Hong Kong Government Bonds
•Hands on experience in operating Clearstream and Euroclear
•Familiar with SWIFT, CHATS, SWIFTNet
•UAT experience preferred
•Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
