The Role
You will be responsible to define / participate in defining the test approach / strategy, to extract testing requirements from functional specifications and business requirements, to develop test plans and test cases based on the test strategy, to write test plans and test cases from functional specifications and from using the product.
You will be responsible to produce artifacts to support testing activities including test scripts/matrices and test data, to participate in quality assurance reviews of functional specifications and design documents, to perform structured and context-driven (formal ad-hoc) integration, system, volume (performance and concurrent usage) and regression testing, to assist subject matter experts (SMEs) with user acceptance testing and to set-up/configure and manage use of test environments.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate needs to have 4 - 7 years of testing experience over multiple projects.
Work experience with In-house Developed Software, a basic understanding of financial products (cash and derivatives), experience with planning and implementing testing in Agile / Iterative and Waterfall SDLC environments, with executing integration, system and acceptance tests.
You need to be able to work well independently and within a diverse team environment.
Must have excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose practical solutions
