Posted Position Title: Truck Technical Advisor Career Level: Experienced Function Financial Services Operations Function Segment: Customer Service Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Minnesota City: Eden Prairie Postal Code: 55344-3889 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: Answer questions, resolve issues and process approvals related to the maintenance, warranties, service and repair of Fleet vehicles in a professional inbound / outbound customer service call center environment. Assist in the vehicle truck maintenance process and to resolve any repair issues. Essential Responsibilities - Interact with suppliers (dealerships, national accounts and independent garages) or external / internal customers utilizing Maintenance Safety Solutions expertise to negotiate or explain maintenance and repair cost savings, warranties or billing services for Fleet customers. - Take inbound calls regarding truck repair requests. Evaluate truck repairs and process approvals related to the truck maintenance and DOT regulations of Fleet vehicles. - Assist Fleet customer Drivers with Road Side Assistance (including road side repairs), Track Vehicle Down repairs to timely completion - Answer incoming calls to validate issues, repair history and pricing - Mechanic, Service Writer, Technical Advisor, and Auto Automotive Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent - 2 years medium/heavy truck experience or related schooling / industry experience - 18 months+ customer service experience Eligibility Requirements: - YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT. - Must submit your application for employment through COS (internal candidates) or www.gecareers.com (external candidates) to be considered for this job opening. - Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. - Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check. - Must be willing to work out of an office in Eden Prairie, MN.
