Trust Acountant recruitment

The trust accountant will be responsible for the accounting function for a group of trusts and companies. Duties will include the following:

- Daily bookkeeping for trusts/offshore companies
- Updating the general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable
- Bank account reconciliation (multi-currency)
- Liaising with trust administrators/bankers regarding missing documents/information
- Preparing trial balance, balance sheet and profit loss
- Year-end closing
- Preparing the necessary documentation for audits
- Interacting with auditors during audits
- Assisting the administrators with accounting and tax issues

Requirements:

- The ability to read documents/minutes and provide bookkeeping for the necessary entries
- The ability to work independently and on own initiative
- An analytical mindset
- Reliable, conscientious, precise and organised

You will have five years of experience in a similar role, combined with a relevant qualification. Knowledge of Trust business is a must. Excellent French and English both written and spoken is essential. This role will ideally suit a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
