Role Description

To undertake a review of each of the fund NAVs of the Funds at points during the year.
Issues arising from this exercise will require consideration alongside known market practices, Client specific processes and general market knowledge.
This will enable an assessment of the Managers (or their agents) controls and administrative systems to be undertaken.
This will involve the verification and review of the various components of the NAV and validation of the prices applied to the Funds.
For some locations a full re-performance of the NAV is required together with regular assessments of best execution and security pricing.
The team are responsible for provision of information provided to external auditors.
Regular review of the fund accountants cash and stock reconciliations

Applicant Requirement

Competent in all aspects of NAV Production
Recalculation of NAV’s
Application of NAV understanding and general business knowledge to make informed decisions
Timely escalation of Issues
Support location with Client escalations
Prepare, Manage and Review all MIS
Understanding of financial markets and instruments
Knowledge of Fund Accounting systems and processes is essential
Knowledge of the Collective Investment Schemes industry would be desirable
The ability to work of part of a team whilst also able to work on individual initiative
Numeracy and a strong attention to detail
Organisational skills and the ability to handle numerous tasks concurrently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
