TRUST MANAGER – WEALTH MANAGEMENT recruitment

The right person to delve into wealth management to work with an extensive network of wealth planners to concurrently manage all Trust business relationships and any after sales tasks that are independent from trustee discretion. 

Ideally you would be a strong relationship builder who is effective in strong communication and closing skills. You should possess the ambition and drive to source and develop new businesses with clients and manage these relationships within their nucleus network of family assets to upsell different types of products. You would thus manage the bank’s Fiduciary asset deals as well as deals from the individual relationships with your new and existing clients.

You must be an individual who is positive to deal with internal and external pressure and be able to constantly identify opportunities to create new business avenues.

Your day to day duties would include building long term relationships with both settlors and beneficiaries and to adhere to any ad hoc issues that may arise from Trust structures or its’ technical and operational matters. It is of utmost importance and dedication from your own initiative as a demonstration of your service excellence to be an effective Relationship Manager by keeping yourself abreast of regulatory changes that could affect Trust structures. Your work will be more often than not be hand in hand with Trust Fiduciary Operations of the bank.

You should possess the following requirements in order to qualify for this role. 

Accounting/Business/Law related university bachelors (or higher) degree 

•CPA/ CA/ LLB/Taxation Degree/ STEP are desirable

•Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience in a trust company or a bank

•Excellent attention to detail 

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills, combined with a broad business  perspective 

•Highly organized, able to multi-task, work both independently and in a team setting

•Marketing and sales capabilities, excellent communication skills with ability to express               things simply and directly while maintaining a focused and controlled discussion 

•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and preferably Chinese Word     Processing

•Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must while Mandarin would be desirable
