Trustee Service Delivery Officer

A global financial services seek a specialist to work within their Client Service Delivery team
This is a particularly varied and interesting role with opportunity for further academic training – including NVQ, IOC, Degree and soft skills
Candidates must have proven experience in financial services Trustee or Fund Administration experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with the effective management of administrative activities conducted by the team as well as assisting with the completion and co-ordinating of client scheme and change event documentation.
An appreciation of time constraints, flexibility and the ability to communicate effectively with clients plus internal and external contacts is critical to the role

As part of the management team ensure that the Bank’s position as Trustee/Depositary is protected
• To ensure receipt of details of creations and cancellation of units (or non-activity) from Fund Administrators
• Provision of Management information – Fund Balance report, box figures, units/shares in issue.
• Daily examination of Suspense accounts. Clearance of balances and overdraft reporting.
• Overdraft monitoring against regulatory and credit limits.
• Regular reconciliation of units/shares in issue with Fund Managers/Administrators records.
• Conduct asset reconciliations between Fund Accounting and Custody records and investigate any breaks.
• Reconcile all outstanding purchases, sales and corporate actions.
• Reconcile all outstanding dividends, bond interest accruals and withholding tax reclaims.
• Review tax and expense accruals.

Tax and Account Opening docs
• Review and submit any documentation completed by the team necessary to facilitate new account openings.
• Review and submit any documentation completed by the team necessary for the submission of withholding tax reclaims

Team Management
• Represent team in internal/external client meetings.
• Manage the acquisition of all data necessary for the creation and maintenance of client packs
