TS Technology – SHARED SERVICES TEST TEAM — NON-FUNCTIONAL TEST MANAGER – VP – Based in Bournemouth, UK recruitment

The Shared Services Test Team is a global testing service providing Functional and Non-Functional Testing across multiple platforms which are utilised Firm-wide to support Payments screening and messaging.
The Team consists of 38 resources based in three locations globally (Bournemouth, Mumbai and Tampa) working across a number of major initiatives relating to SWIFT Messaging, Sanctions Screening, Central Payments Hubs and Line of Business Test Support.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing a team of (initially) two dedicated Non-Functional Test Analysts, providing an NFT capability for firstly the SWIFTBus on the Messaging Strategy Program but with scope to branch out to cover multiple projects and platforms.
Develop and maintain the Shared Services Non-Functional Test Strategy and review and deliver to the key metrics in the SWIFTBus Non-Functional Test Plan.
Plan and schedule Non-Functional Test Phases comprising of Performance, Volume, Break, Soak, Stress, Recovery, Scalability and Security tests.
Design the Non-Functional Test Cases and achieve sign-off from key SMEs in Design, Architecture and Development.
Analyse Results and trace back performance issues to specific components or pieces of code.
Responsible for creating, executing and maintaining repeatable tests utilising HP Quality Center.
Produce Test Completion Reports for each Test Phase.
Provide regular progress and management information reports and represent the NFT Team at the weekly program meetings.

Qualifications
Your Background:

You will have experience working in a Non-Functional Test Manager / Lead role with strong management, planning and organisational skills.
You will have experience working on a large scale Financial Services Messaging Platform re-architecture or implementation.
You will have previous experience in testing middleware applications including MQ / UM and Messaging Broker based systems.
You will have an understanding of the SWIFT FIN Service and will have experience in working with XML Message Formats.
You will have knowledge of the full testing lifecycle from analysis and definition of test cases, through to execution and documentation of test results.
You should have extensive experience in working with industry standard test tools and test automation tools such as HP Quality Center and Load Runner and experience in the following tools would be desirable: Green Hat Tester, Green Hat Performance Tester, Win Runner and QTP.
You will have experience in monitoring system performance using tools such as YourKit Java Profiler and Wiley.
You should have a good working knowledge of Oracle databases (11g Desirable) and an understanding of Oracle Performance Tuning using Oracle Enterprise Manager or equivalent.
You should have a good understanding of Unix and should have the ability to monitor and search logs, run scripts and monitor processes.
You should have experience in working with the Java Messaging Service (JMS) and should have the ability to read and debug Java code.

Formal testing qualifications (ISEB / ISTQB)
Degree in Computer Science
