TSM Administrator Job in Columbia 29210, South Carolina US
Candidate should possess senior level administrative knowledge of tsm v 5.5.5.0 and above in an ibm aix environment. Must be able to architect, install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain ibm tsm products to include ms sql and exchange tdp. Must have advanced tsm administration skills and the ability to assist with the implementation of tsm v5 to v6 upgrade.
Strong unix/linux administration skills are preferred. Vmware administration knowledge a plus. Must be available to work outside the normal monday – friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, business hours, as needed.
Daily duties / responsibilities:
management of ibm tsm enterprise environment to include installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and patch application . Assistance with unix/linux os support.
Required skills (rank in order of importance): senior level tsm v5 administration skills, tsm architecture and design skills, exchange and sql tdp unix/linux and windows os knowledge.
Preferred skills (rank in order of importance):, aix, unix korn shell scripting, windows server admin skill,vmware administration skills
required education: 5+ years of tsm experience
