TSM Storage Engineer, Financial Services, Zürich, Switzerland recruitment
Primarily your responsibility will be to provide technical leadership and strategic direction within an enterprise TSM backup environment as well as troubleshooting daily TSM issues. You will be providing hands on support with architecting optimal, stable, flexible solutions.
In order to be considered as a potential candidate you will need to have a solid understanding of TSM backup software, disk/tape solutions, and data backup technologies, including virtualization, clustering and data replication.
Furthermore you will possess the following requirements:
- 5+ Years of enterprise TSM experience
- 5+ Years of IT experience
- 5+ Years of Data Backup Engineering experience
- Experience and knowledge using TSM 6.x backup software, IBM 3590 tape library management, tape encryption, policy and disk pool management
- Experience and knowledge using Brocade Director Class Switches, Data Ceter Fabric Manager, ISL configuration, fibre channel characteristics and zone creations – both simple and complex.
