BUSINESS OVERVIEW
In order to deliver competitive trade solutions to our trade clients, the technology platforms, operational components and client documentation must be cohesively designed and delivered within limited timeframes. The full end to end flow of new trade product development initiatives include components of Risk, Accounting, Credit, Compliance and workability with various regulatory Guidelines/local law. The individual in this role must have a strong understanding of all these elements as they relate to product development and commercialization.. The position reports to the Global Head of Trade and he/she will have responsibility for and work with product partners to develop and execute Trade's product development strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Project Management Lead with partners in Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Financial Control. Individual will lead cross-functional teams and manage expected delivery. Individual will be competing with other initiatives that may require the same subject matter experts and will need to build a network of collaborative partners.
-New Product or Initiative Launch-partner with Senior Managers, Sales and Marketing to insure successful launch of new capabilities including design of marketing and training material for new products/initiatives.
-Global Coordinator-Lead role in launching product capabilities across the globe-requires building a wide global network to understand local regulatory/legal requirements as well as sensitivity to diverse client base.
-Presenter/Trainer-Present new capabilities to senior managers and global colleagues. Represent Citi at various Industry forums. Provide internal and client training. Provide client demos. Create training material, procedures, and award submissions
-Innovation-Seek ways to leverage technology or core product offerings to enhance our Trade Solutions. Participate in client calls and work closely with Sales to understand the changing needs of our clients.
-Mentor/Manager-Directly manage staff and also serve as mentor to Associates/Analysts and colleagues. Demonstrate Leadership skills by active participation in Citi programs such as recruiting, mentoring and Program Sponsor.

-Successful rollout of new and innovative products to enhance market share and generate new revenues with new client acquisition as a result of these new initiatives and/or programs.

Skills

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

-Product Development Leadership Experience managing businesses tied to $1B in revenue
-Strong Project Management experience with successful projects completed- Project management experience with deployment of new processes, systems/ change management in a global environment.
-Strong understanding of the trade finance/services business from a product management/product knowledge background with particular emphasis on supply chain finance product set
-Motivational leadership skills in managing others directly or indirectly
-Ability to take business needs and articulate them into concise business requirements.
-Knowledge of IT processes and development cycles
-10+ years experience in the above attributes
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong team player;
-Experience in global initiatives/communicating with global partners at a senior level
-Ability to work independently and leverage cross functional partners
-"Execution spirit" and Entrepreneur- "Get things done person"

-B.S. Degree required.

-M.S. Degree preferred
