Salary £22,450 - £27,450 pro rata
Our Client is currently the largest national Provider of Offender Learning in the UK; their highly qualified employees are fully trained in security arrangements in order for them to deliver a responsive curriculum within prisons across England 52 weeks a year.
The aim of the Directorate is to lead, manage and develop provision in order to reduce re-offending and contribute to social inclusion by providing a wealth of curricula experiences.

With this in mind they are seeking to appoint a part time (18.5 hours) Functional Skills Tutor (English and Literacy) to work within their Education provision based at HMP Leeds.
You will deliver high quality, learner focused education which complies with curriculum best practice and quality targets. The role will involve the development of lesson plans and appropriate schemes of work in order to support individual learners.
Applicants for the tutor roles must have relevant teaching experience and hold a teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 5 with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within a given timescale.
To succeed within these roles, candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non judgmental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.
