UAT Manager Job in North West England, North West UK
An opportunity has arisen for a UAT Manager to join one of Europe's leading service vendors and this is a chance to work with one of the UK's leading retailers.
This is for a 3 month contract based in the North West.
In order to be successful for this role you must be able to demonstrate retail experience and have man management experience.
Main responsibilities include:
• Overall management of the UAT testing workstreams, including planning, preparation and execution, reporting, issue and risk management across a complex Release.
• Identify general requirements for UAT test environments.
• Ensure proper consideration of cross-functional environment requirements.
• Issue and track UAT environment procurement and build requests.
• Maintain UAT Phase Test Plan.
• Work with UAT Business Coordinators to maintain UAT Schedule across all UAT activities
• Work with Cross-Functional Business UAT Coordinator to align execution plans across all business areas.
• Plan for provision of UAT test data with external teams.
• Track and report on status of all phase activities.
• Raise, track, escalate and progress UAT issues and risks through to conclusion.
• Track and report on progress of UAT test execution.
• Defect Management - coordinate functional verification of UAT defect fixes and associated functional regression.
• Defect Management - report on UAT team fix verification status.
• Produce UAT exit documentation for Quality Gate meeting.
• Lead UAT Phase Exit Quality Gate.
This role requires managing the relationship between supplier and end client, therefore experience of managing stakeholders is crucial.
