UAT Script Writer and Stager
This position is part of the Home Lending User Acceptance Testing Team. Duties / Responsibilities include: · Analyzing business requirements for testability and completeness using Functional Specification Documents, Business Requirements Documents and Technical Design Documents · Developing requirements into test conditions, cases and scripts · Development, staging and execution of automated scripts using HP Quality Center to thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects · Reviewing test cases and other testing artifacts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all test artifacts · Tracks testing problems by providing reproducible test cases · Works with other product team members to diagnose and recreate problems · Test scripting data collection and analysis according to the project plan schedule and ensuring adherence to standard practices and procedures · Interact on a daily basis with system developers, business analysts, system testers, and other staff. · Backup to Test Leads working with business users to execute test scripts · Acquiring and maintaining Test IDs · Draft and maintain list of scenarios/loan attributes to be tested for each work item · Stage loans to be tested create test result documentation guide for each scenario being tested · Maintain testing schedule * including which loans will be ready for use and are applicable to which work items · Update master list and schedule based on status of work items in QC · Report progress · Responsible for staying current on process and procedures. Expected to understand and know the production process, including all workarounds. · Able to support the execution of detailed test plans, scenarios and scripts to verify software functionality and the adherence to business requirements.
