UBS IB Reporting Analyst recruitment

The Core Reporting team is responsible for a suite of MIS both for the Investment Bank (IB CFO, CEO and businesses) , Group (Group CFO, CEO, Risk and other clients), and External Regulators (FINMA, Fed, SEC, FSA) over a range of time frames. In addition, the team will be responsible for supporting MIS deliveries to the Strategic Reporting team, also within the Business Controlling Reporting area.

This role is responsible for the support of the MIS production in the Business Controlling Reporting area of IB Finance. The role provides expert analysis around a base dataset for the various MIS for which the team is responsible.

The position will provide analysis to support and add value to the report suite, for the benefit of various high profile report recipients. These will include, but not be limited to:

Daily/Weekly Revenue Reporting
+ Daily PL
+ Integrated Reporting for various executive meetings
+ Finance Reporting Pack
+ Product PLs reporting
Monthly/Quarterly Revenue Reporting
+ Month-End Estimate Process
+ GFR/Business Division Reporting
+ Quarterly Results Reporting (MDA)
+ Key Messages
+ Analysts briefing presentation, QA and Speaker Note
+ Forecasting and forecast tracking
Regional/Client / Product type revenues templates by Business Area

+ Review existing and actively updating report suite to converge towards integrated reporting
+ Require working closely with BPA Production team and stepping in to ensure the required reports are produced and delivered to client requirements
+ Necessitate reviewing all BPA production team reports before they are sent to the final recipients
+ Require liaison with other areas within the IB Product Control, in particular the business area BPA teams
+ Act as key point of contact for clients, Production team, and BPA teams amongst many stakeholders to be able to coordinate the various deliveries
+ Liaise with Group and other stakeholders in relation to a range of high profile quarterly deliverables
+ Challenge and drive improvement in every process
+ Require carrying out ad hoc work

This role is responsible for understanding the dynamics of our profit and loss accounts, and providing quality, accurate and timely analysis on all aspects of the PL, and increasingly, supplementary data. The role will provide analysis on a suite of MIS involving the analysis of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly management accounting reports for UBS internal IB Management and for Corporate Center/Group. The reporting suite will cover estimate, actual, forecast and plan reporting, consolidation of commentaries and trend analysis. Whilst the role is predominantly an analytical role, the expectation will be that the incumbent will from time to time be involved in supporting the Production team to team delivery.
