Posted Position Title: UCC Associate Career Level: Entry-Level Function Financial Services Operations Function Segment: Portfolio Services - UCC and Securities Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Montana City: Billings Postal Code: 59102-6700 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: Administration of Uniform Commercial Code process for the business. Essential Responsibilities - Timely processing of UCC filings including UCC-1's (original filings), UCC-3's (continuations, assignments, amendments, terminations and subordinations) and searches to ensure the perfection of security interest and minimize risk exposure. - Perform system input and verify input for accuracy. - Scan necessary documents into electronic storage databases. - Pull/develop reports using appropriate database tools to monitor UCC requirements on accounts. - Research and resolve internal and external customer questions and issues. - Resolve conversion and acquisition questions and issues. - Develop open lines of communication with other departments to reduce processing errors. - Assist other departmental teams as needed. - Reliable attendance is an essential job function as processes are deadline critical. - Meet/exceed targeted goals and service standards. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Requirement - High School diploma/GED and 1 year experience in financial services business or 3 years experience in financial services. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications Eligibility Requirements: - YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT. - Must submit your application for employment through COS (internal candidates) or www.gecareers.com (external candidates) to be considered for this job opening. - Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. - Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification and background check. - Must be willing to travel 5% of the time. - Must be willing to work out of an office in Billings, MT.
