UI Designer / Web designer
Our team is seeking a Web UI/UX Designer to develop innovative solutions for a range of web and digital projects. You will be responsible for the creation of mockups, prototypes, responsive website designs, and various graphical elements. You will be responsible for the majority of the agencies web-based design work, working alongside with the Creative Director. This position requires a blend of creative and technical expertise - a core understanding of HTML/CSS and a mastery of various Adobe CS design and development tools is required. You are a "Doer" and able to work independent as well as in team projects. Ability to create websites from idea to implementation is a must.
Main requirements
- A compelling online design portfolio.
- Experience in a competitive, aggressive, and deadline-driven working team environment.
- A strong sense of UI/UX design and layout.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile design, graphic fundamentals, typography and limitations of the web.
- Mastery of varying design applications including the Adobe CS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a self-learner that’s always in search of innovation.
- An obsessive level of attention to details, structure, and a burning need to produce ridiculously awesome and creative designs and produce ridiculously awesome code without the need for QA.
- The ability to translate design comprehensives into web and mobile standards-compliant HTML markup CSS.
- A strong knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and multiple browser technologies.
- Experienced with responsive web design, fluid layouts, and building sites that work well on any device and OS.
- Experience building mobile and touch-optimized websites and applications.
- Ability to understand and work with legacy code, and not just create from scratch.
- In pursuit of constant change, new trends and emerging web technologies that can greatly improve your design solutions and the quality of our company output.
- Possess excellent communication skills to clearly express and explain your ideas verbally and digitally.
Nice to have
- Experience working with third party APIs like Twitter and Facebook.
- Mobile application development in iOS, Android and others.
- A working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Experience with the Bootstrap framework
- Languages like Swedish, Polish, Norwegian, Danish
- Ability to travel for client meetings in Europe.
