Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a UI/UX Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a worldwide well known niche software and commodities house. They supply to most of the world’s commodity houses as well as brokers and hedge funds. They work in .net 4.0 with a complex platform developed in C++ MFC and C# with in WCF, WPF and Silverlight 5. They are also a Microsoft Gold Partner.
I am looking for a talented UI/UX Developer to be Responsible for the design and development of the user interfaces for one of my trading clients product lines. My Clients customers are worldwide so there is also the opportunity to travel and develop your client facing skills.
Key Job Accountabilities
• Design and Development of new UIs for Products
• Working with clients and the development team to improve the User experience of the products
• Working with existing developers to define standards for UI design
• Ensuring new user interfaces conform to standards and styles defined
• Working closely with other developers within the Scrum team
Candidates must have:
- Degree in Computer Science or Software
- Demonstrable Software Development experience including designing user interfaces for high quality web-based applications, also work with other .net programming languages an advantage.
- Visual Studio 2010
- HTML
- JQuery
- 3-5 years working in a commercial UI/UX role and able to demonstrate a wide portfolio of design work
- Knowledge of Usability, human factors and UX Process
- Experience of working in Agile/Scrum environment
- You will gain F#
The UI UX Developer should be:
- Creative and Innovative
• Able to design high-quality user interfaces, using standard tools, for users working in a high-pressure, high-performance environment
• Able to work with clients to understand their use of a system, and use this to define appropriate user interfaces
This is a role for a UI UX Developer who has serious development experience and is looking to get into financial services or a demanding technical environment and gain some serious experience client facing. The atmosphere is relaxed and training is strong. Also jeans and t shirts are the norm. You will be given the opportunity to work at the pinnacle of trading technology working with a group of particularly experienced and clever individuals.
