UK Business Development Director – Hedge Funds recruitment
Role Responsibilities:
• The job holder will be responsible for generating new client leads and managing the business development of a portfolio of existing clients
• Identifying and closing new organic sales opportunities ensuring that they fit with the full range of company product offering and managing the service expectation of clients against the product capabilities
• Building close working relationships with other relevant stakeholders across sales, product and operational groups
• Ensuring that strong and active communications relating to client activities exist across all sales, product and client service teams
• Actively drive portfolio client income by reviewing profitability and developing strategies to ensure targets are met whilst driving cross sales.
• To develop client business plans ensuring the organisation can respond both technically and strategically to client requirements during periods of industry and product change.
Experience Knowledge:
• Extensive knowledge of UK hedge funds industry specific experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of the Security Services products including investment accounting, investment valuations, custody services, investor services and middle office services.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to cultivate new relationships easily to develop new opportunities.
• Excellent relationship management with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively in a team and to tight deadlines
