To complement the company’s continued growth agenda, we are seeking to appoint a first class UK Financial Controller capable of best practice financial management, developing a high performing team and contributing commercial expertise to support the continued success of the business.

The UK Financial Controller role reports to and deputises for the UK Finance Director, interfaces extensively with Group Finance and leads a team of c30 in total.
The Role:
• Responsible for the financial control, management and reporting of this large, growing and strategically important division.
• Management and development of the financial accounting team as well as the critical Group Finance relationship.
• Providing insightful financial and commercial support to the Business Unit Financial Controllers, proactively adding value to aid enhanced business efficiency, growth and profitability.
The Candidate:
• Qualified accountant with demonstrable best practice financial management expertise within a corporate environment. Ideally from related sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, retail, business services and contract based businesses.
• Strong technical financial skills, encompassing statutory requirements, capital expenditure and consolidation experience as well as an engaging leadership style capable of maximising performance.
• Commercial acumen, gravitas and adaptable interpersonal skills are essential for effective relationship development with key senior management stakeholders. Intrinsically motivated, achievement driven and passionate about applying high quality standards.
