UK Head of Prime Services Production Management. recruitment

London based Investment Bank seek a Head of Prime Services Production Management. You will have previous Hands-on Equities application and/or infrastructure management experience with Fidessa, FIX, Horizon, Globe and Phoenix. Management experience of a two tiered (L1 and L2) global follow the sun application support organisation (ideally supporting low latency eCommerce or complex product trading), with proven cross-team collaboration leveraging shared resources as appropriate. Proven track record of managing teams of size up to 20 including yearly reviews, salary and bonus review, contractor negotiation and vendor management. Proven Track record of managing off shore teams. With organisation and operational optimisation change management experience. You will be well tuned technical knowledge relating to application management (infra, Dbase, App Architecture) and advanced problem solving. Good understanding of ITIL methodologies as applicable to Application Management function. Incident / Inquiry tracking tools Understanding of investment bank front and back office process flows, including those from upstream and downstream systems. Significant experience of global production support within an investment banking environment with exposure to Equities Trading or Prime Services Production Support. The key responsibility of the role is to create and maintain a strong Prime Services Production Environment. The role will require also the management of all aspects of the Prime Services support teams, working with all the IT support teams and Prime Service Client Teams across the regions to continue to build a market leading support organisation. A strong drive will be required to proactively focus on service improvement, with the business requiring a functionality rich environment can lead to a high rate of change from Prime Services IT. This should also include working with the business on improving service levels and the on-going development of SLT’s and KPi’s.
