UK Institutional Relationship Management Support

 

SEI`s Institutional relationship management unit is responsible for servicing and developing SEI`s institutional clients in the UK. These clients consist of pension funds, charities, corporate funds and DC assets.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:

• Provide support for Relationship Managers

• Provide Support for Transition Management

• General Team support

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Support for Relationship Managers

     o Meeting preparation

     o Preparation of manual/customised reporting to client deadlines

     o Attendance at client meetings

     o Assist with implementation of client portfolio strategy changes

     o Follow up issues with standard monthly and quarterly reporting,   working with the US based reporting team to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely reports.

     o Assist with regular monitoring of client`s funded status

     o Ensuring client files/legal documentation up to date

     o Deal directly with clients on specific account queries

• Provide Support for Transition Management

    o Provide back up and support to the UK Transitions team in bringing on new client business to maintain client market exposure and manage incoming clients in a cost effective manner.

    o Quality control/trade checking

    o Assist with new account set-up on all appropriate systems

    o Completion of AML documentation

    o Liaise with custodian, third party managers etc in transition planning

• General Team Support

    o Developing new processes and procedures (e.g. derivatives, third party fund support) and helping streamline current processes.

    o Manage quarterly invoicing process

    o Maintain the library of legal documents required to provide clients with current versions of prospectus, legal agreements, hedge fund subscription documents working with the Legal Team to ensure that everyone is using most recent version.

   o Update CRM with changes to contact names and details when they arise in compliance with the Data Collection Policy.

   o Treating Customers Fairly management information reporting.

  

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES/SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

• 1 or 2 years experience in working with financial institutions; ideally degree educated

• An interest in financial services together with a basic understanding of investment markets and asset classes.

•  Desire to develop into a client service director

•  Articulate with strong communication skills both internally and externally

• Good IT skills. Ability to work with Excel/Word/Powerpoint

• Ability to control and manage a number of different tasks.

• Ability to use initiative and common sense to produce work that goes beyond basic parameters of job

• Strong attention to detail
