UK Internal Sales Manager Job in Manchester, North West Uk

Being uniquely positioned for further growth and expansion, the UK business unit is currently looking for a UK Internal Sales Manager based at their key location in the North West of England.

 

The successful candidate will manage the Internal Sales department, its people, functions, processes, efficiency and effectiveness. To achieve ‘best in class’ service quality standard consistently. Provide leadership and deliver maximum profitability and growth in line with the company values.
 

·        To manage, motivate and lead the Internal Sales Team whilst creating close and solid partnerships with all departments, divisions and partners.

·        Proactively and energetically drives sales revenues in conjunction with external sales function whilst providing timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

·        Develops business plan and sales strategy for the department that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

·        Maximise sales through effective management, targeting and goal setting whilst minimising customer complaints and improving the customer experience by ensuring highly skilled committed workforce work with achievable KPIs.

·        To build customer loyalty and retention through delivering innovative, customer focussed and value added solutions across the business.

·        Develop, and motivate the department, developing skill-sets and utilising performance tools to maximize and sustain superior performance.

·        Devise and implement the necessary business improvements, systems and processes required to improve efficiency and to deliver a best in class customer experience.

·        The successful candidate will autonomously lead from the front and take responsibility by putting themselves in the driving seat.

 

·        Minimum of 5 years Sales Management experience ideally gained within the Building Products/Manufactured Goods sector would be a distinct advantage.

·        Experience of the Building Specification, Construction, Architectural or similar related areas would be a major strength.

·        Excellent people manager, with strong customer focus bias in a team working environment.

·        Excellent communication, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate successfully in a multifunctional environment, ability to gain consensus.

·        Strong analytical skills, high energy, creativity, with a drive for results, self motivated.

·        Competency with standard Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) required.

·        Strong knowledge of order processing and quality processes and their improvement.

·        A proven self starter who has the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multitasking environment.

·        Strong commercial awareness and negotiating skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
