UK Investment Manager – European Private Equity Fund. London recruitment
The firm is one of the leading players in the European mid market, seeking to invest in businesses valued at up to 300m Euros. The fund invests across a range of sectors and has a large pool of capital available, coupled with an outstanding track record.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the investment process including the origination and evaluation of potential investments, financial modelling, valuations, due diligence and execution coordination. Additionally this individual will work with portfolio businesses on a variety of matters such as add-on acquisitions, re-financings and exits. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside and under the guidance of highly experienced private equity professionals with excellent investment track-records. This position will offer significant room for progression and the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded private equity investor.
Suitable individuals for this position will be working at senior analyst/junior associate level and could come from a variety of backgrounds including the corporate finance department of a top tier investment bank or boutique advisory firm (within mergers acquisitions or leveraged finance), the private equity due diligence team of a premier strategy consulting firm or the corporate finance team of one of the Big Four accountancy firms. It is possible that candidates might also have some investment experience, most likely gained in a mid-market private equity firm. Candidates must be comfortable working in a small and entrepreneurial environment, which will offer them early responsibility and autonomy. You will have an excellent academic background and be highly numerate. You will also be confident interacting at a senior level and possess strong communication and presentation skills.
