A leading Lloyds Syndicate is currently seeking a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Insurance Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created role and the main purpose of the role is to ensure that both the management and financial accounting function is efficient, effective and accurate.
Role:
• Quarterly reporting.
• Reconciling group VAT.
• Assisting with Statutory Returns.
• Testing controls and the monitoring of cost accounting.
As this is a new role within the business there is the possibility that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop the role to make it as effective as possible.
Requirements:
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
• Insurance sector experience.
• VAT returns, reconciling general ledgers, budgeting and forecasting and improving processes.
