UK – Non Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) – FIG Relationship Manager recruitment

Reporting into the Head of Europe, a successful candidate will have a pan European client coverage.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Managing overall relationship with a designated portfolio of Non Banking Financial Institutions including clients such as: Sovereign Wealth Funds, Insurance Companies, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds etc.

• Take responsibility for product revenues from clients and cross-selling products

• Establishing relationships with Correspondent Banks

• Account planning and strategy for key clients

• Training and support of junior staff

The successful candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• Be a senior banker (likely with at least 10 years market experience) and have spent significant time in a FIG role

• Demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships

• A strong knowledge of credit and capital market instruments, syndication and documentation

• Exposure to Investment banking, ECM, DCM etc.

• Used to the concepts of cross sell and Matrix management

• Further Education ideally - in Economics, MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English are essential

• A knowledge of financial markets in the Middle East would be beneficial
