UK Real Estate Portfolio Manager recruitment

Accountabilities

• Support the Senior Portfolio Manager

• Ensure that all deal information is correct when considering assets for a Platform, with appropriate options paper and supporting financial analysis.

• To identify, promote and manage major exit opportunities for portfolios held in asset management platforms, whilst ensuring all risks and outcomes are considered in the best interests of the business

• Assist with monthly reporting

Specific

• Support in-house management to provide business plans which are in line with internal approval requirements.

• Build and flex cash flows to demonstrate the performance of each connection and analyse projected returns

• Oversee the drafting of management agreements for migration of assets to the platform.

• Liaise with the asset manager to ensure that reporting is provided on time with appropriate content.

• Write reports for internal purposes, including analysis on the performance of each connection and the Platform overall.

• Manage and keep updated the pipeline of asset opportunities across the business and ensure all cases are being processed quickly and efficiently.

• Arrange and attend internal meetings for in-house forums, providing all necessary information in a timely manner.

• Travel within the UK will be required on a monthly basis for meetings or property inspections.

• Liaise with the asset manager, advisors and case teams on connections in the pipeline, to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of strategies.

• Appraise existing valuations and where necessary instruct new valuations.

Key Capabilities

• MRICS qualified

• Must have worked in real estate organisation and have transaction experience in the industry.  Experience in Property Fund management desirable.

• Highly numerate and analytical with advanced financial modelling skills for appraising real estate opportunities.

• Excellent report writing and power point presentation skills.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships at all levels.

• Good experience in understanding and drafting complicated management agreements.
