Our client, an International Insurer based in the City is seeking a newly qualified Regulatory Accountant with a strong technical understanding to strengthen their finance team. This is an excellent job opportunity for someone seeking to move from practice to industry.

The overall purpose of this job will be to produce all the Regulatory returns. You will be heavily involved in the streamlining of processes and implementing of new financial and regulatory reporting requirements, especially solvency II and IFRS across the UK.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who is looking for their step into industry, as the successful candidate is likely to have trained within practice and have an audit background.

Responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and review the regulatory returns
• Ensure ongoing compliance
• Support and assist with system improvements
• Analytical reviews
• Business partnering
• Drive operational excellence
• Assist with the implementation of Solvency II and IFRS
• Assist with Ad-hoc projects

The candidate:
• Qualified ACA
• Strong technical understanding
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Strong IT skills, including pivot tables and v look ups
