Sales Director UK– London – United Kingdom
An International Retail Organisation is looking for a Sales Director UK to join their team in London, United Kingdom on a permanent basis. You will report into the VP Europe and your responsibilities will include:
- Select, train and develop an effective sales team by establishing performance standards and objectives, conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary measures.
- Field visitation and sales team development. On-site assessment of Field Sales Executives` time management, reporting; organizational and sales skills. Coach and develop the Field Sales Force.
- Administrative duties including monitoring individual sales performance, developing new sales tools/strategies, and enhancing management skills.
- Keep up to date on competitive products and situations within the industry.
- Recommend new marketing and product enhancements in an effort to increase sales and revenue growth. Collect and supply information to management that can provide better service and penetration into our market.
The successful candidate will:
- Successfully completed University Degree and with a minimum of 7 years experience within the sales field.
- Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills – and comfortable with direct and open dialogue.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proven track record of establishing priorities and ensuring delivery of work in a timely manner – but also adaptable.
