UK Sales Manager recruitment

The Advertising Sales Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the advertising sales operations process for international ad campaigns on Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Bloomberg BusinessWeek Events and BusinessWeek.com from designated accounts and agencies in the UK market. This includes display advertising, sponsorships and creative solutions. The position is based in London and reports to the head of EMEA sales for Bloomberg BusinessWeek based in London. The candidate will work closely with other members of the International sales team based in London.

The ideal candidate will understand Bloomberg BusinessWeek advertiser's goals and manage advertising solutions across the platforms to maximize revenues. This role requires a strong understanding of communication planning, international readership and online viewer research, print advertising and online advertising. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and presenter.

Core Responsibilities:

- Keep in regular contact - both face to face, by telephone and email - with agencies and clients - keeping them up-to-date with the latest developments at Bloomberg BusinessWeek.

- Understand advertisers' goals and objectives and how we can build solutions to help them achieve these and maximize revenues.

- Meet with designated agency and clients regularly.

- Prepare and present proposals to clients and agencies.

- Prepare and present presentations to position Bloomberg BusinessWeek's and the offering in the market.

Qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and analytical.

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- A clear understanding of interactive and print advertising.
