UK Statutory Reporting Accountant
A major international pharmaceutical company is looking to take on a new UK Statutory Reporting Accountant to replace one of their departing contractors.
This interim role will be responsible for the 2013 UK statutory reporting exercise, including managing the financial accounting output from the offshore service centre, working with Tax and company secretarial teams on reviewing draft financial statements, and preparing external reports. This role will also be responsible for managing the production of the annual Directors Remuneration Report, to be included in the annual shareholder report.
This position will require significant experience working for a FTSE listed plc in a similar external reporting or statutory accounting role, and will suit candidates who have experience working alongside very senior stakeholders in large complex businesses. We are looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with significant experience in a commercial business, excellent communication ability, and who is available on short notice. This role is initially for 4-5 months, but could run through until June 2014.
