UK Wholesale Fund Sales Executive
Reporting directly to the Head of UK Retail Sales, you will be primarily responsible for driving new business development and relationship management from the head office, working directly with targeted Intermediary distributors, such as IFA’s and other distributors, to promote the firm’s suite of funds.
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships and maintain and strengthen existing relationships with IFAs and distributors in assigned territory, through targeted prospecting activities.
- Work with externally-based Sales Managers to co-manage targeted accounts and provide efficient and timely support.
- Raise awareness of the company's investments products and related services and deliver key messages through targeted prospecting activities, including cold-calling, direct mail campaigns, face-to-face and branch meetings, and attendance at industry conferences.
- Develops, maintains and broadens Intermediary relationships by thoroughly understanding the philosophy and dynamics of the adviser / organisation (investment philosophy, client base, product preference, etc.). Act as a trusted adviser in matching needs with products and services.
- To develop successfully in the role you will develops a high level of knowledge of the investment management industry, capital markets and marketplace developments. You will have the communication skills to use this market and product knowledge to become a trusted adviser to clients and prospective clients, and positions the firm’s products effectively.
To apply for this role you must have the following skills and qualifications:
- Ideally three years of experience within asset management, with at least one year of Wholesale sales experience.
- Minimum CII Certificate of Financial Planning qualified (or FPC).
- Superior oral and written communication skills, with demonstrable presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Thorough knowledge of investments and competitive environment.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
