Job Details:
A.S. degree in Ultrasound Technology; ARDMS registry eligible, 1-3 yrs experience preferred. Following established policies and procedures, performs and records ultrasound diagnostic tests of patients' pelvic, abdominal and arterial and vascular areas. In doing so, obtains information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, blood flow, masses or development of fetuses for use in diagnosis of disease, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta, and the like. Ensures ultrasound tests are of high quality and records results. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations, consultations, sterile procedures, and the like. Performs general clerical duties such as report filing and distribution, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, photocopying materials, and the like.
