Unauthorised Trading (UT) Client Data
My client a top tier Investment Bank is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their Global Reference Data team. This team is responsible for maintaining data instrument static; client instructions; counterparties; legal entities; and time series. A key objective is to further centralise and streamline the collection distribution of data, and to continue to reduce the amount of multiple input and maintenance of reference data within the bank.
The role as Regulatory Business Analyst will focus on regulatory requirements coming out of the Unauthorised Trading (UT) initiative.
Specifically, the main focus of the role will be to co-ordinate work across the UT regulatory suite impacting GRD and to ensure that the impact of these on the GRD process and group architecture is understood.
There are a number of aggressive timelines committed to the regulatory bodies (Fed) that need to be addressed. The Business Analyst will work with the Project Manager to ensure that these are delivered.
Main Duties
- Manage elements of Regulatory work from a Reference Data perspective – including planning, resourcing, budgeting, communications, documentation etc.
- Indirectly manage SME resources across GRD to deliver against centralised Operations Project deliverables. This may change to a Global team as the project moves towards implementation
- Liaise with IT and stakeholder teams to ensure the full impact and dependencies are fully understood and managed accordingly
Person Requirements
- Experience within Unauthorised Trading regulatory initiatives in relation to FED requirements.
- Minimum of 18 months experience within a project environment.
- Good stakeholder skills (both written and verbal).
- Have the ability to deal with stressful situations.
- Have strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels.
- Are comfortable with the demands of working in a pressurised environment.
- Strong Microsoft Access Excel skills.
- VBA (Excel, Access) Preferably.
