Start by taking a look at our 10-week Summer Internship programme which offers a fantastic opportunity to develop both your understanding of private banking together with some of the skills you'll need to be a successful Private Banker.

From day one we'll help you develop fundamental skills and knowledge, and an in-depth understanding of how we operate. It will be your first step towards a career in Private Banking, and a perfect opportunity to see just how much you could achieve with Barclays Wealth.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn through a classroom based environment but you will also be aligned to a Private Banking team where you will see how things work from the inside, get exposure to clients and gain plenty of hands-on experience. You'll see how we run every aspect of our business from client attraction to maintaining client relationships - you'll even get a chance to experience what it's like to make a pitch.
To join us you’ll need commitment, passion and integrity and be in the penultimate year of your degree, or in the final year of a bachelors degree with a confirmed place to study a one year masters. You'll also need a minimum of 300 UCAS points (or equivalent) and be on track for obtaining a 2:1 in your first degree.
